Field Trip to the Children's Museum

We went to the Children's Museum with our neighbor and her 2 daughters. The kids had a great time exploring and playing together. We started out in the China room, playing instruments, petting the water buffalo statue, and water painting calligraphy.

Next up the face painting table. The kids had a great time drawing on each other's faces, noses and my hand.
The water room was every one's favorite. They really enjoyed racing boats, blowing bubbles, playing in the water pipes and water fountains. They were a little damp but no one was soaked.
The dinosaur exhibit had moving dinosaurs and the kids kept asking if they were real. Digging for fossils was great and not messy.

In the nature lodge, the kids were able to touch a real snake. Most of the kids touched it and everyone watched it with great fascination.
The forest area had great places explore- a log, a woodchuck lodge and a turtle shell. Everyone climbed into the turtle. Cutest turtles ever!

The ant area had tunnels to crawl through. Laura was carrying a stuffed ant larva around like a baby and hiding it in the tunnels.
There was a miniature town with a supermarket, bus, restaurant, movie studio, and doctor's office. They really enjoyed shopping at the market and playing the different roles.

Video of the kids in front of a blue screen at the movie theater dancing and playing instruments to a music video. The monitor shows the kids on the background. The kids do love being on stage!
