Lawn Games Day

Beautiful weather all week long and lots of green grass and free time on our hands. We pulled out the yard games for a bit of a change. The kids learned how to throw horseshoes, hit a birdie in badminton, toss a lawn dart-without the sharp points of course and catching a baseball.

June Travel Tots- A Trip to Canada

This month the kids enjoyed learning about Canada and taking an imaginary camping trip up North. They set up a tent, used a compass and binoculars to go hiking. Then they pretended to go fishing and cook up the fish.

Picnic in the park

We had a picnic in the park on Tuesday and watched a magician. He pulled a real rabbit out of a hat and turned carrots into real gold fish. After lunch the kids had fun playing at a different park and then home for a nap.

School Age Zoo Field Trip

The school kids enjoyed a trip to the zoo. We arrived a bit later in the morning and all the parking was full. So we took the cool leopard shuttle bus from the overflow parking. They really enjoyed riding the bus. They were really excited to see the ants were back on display and the new polar bear exhibit is really cool.
