We started out the morning with our Easter Egg Hunt. Thank you to our two volunteers for hiding all the eggs- Matt & Jenni. I lost count at 300 eggs, not sure how many there is, more then enough to completely fill up each child's basket.

Our happy egg hunting team. The older kids were
assigned a specific color to look for to make it fair for the smaller kids. Everyone ended up with a full basket of eggs and lots of treasures and treats!
The Egg and Spoon race- youngest first and then the oldest. I found cute eggs & spoons at Target last year- the spoons are very large and the eggs "crack" open and a bean
bag yolk comes out when they are dropped.

Our Egg toss game- The
plastic eggs are weighted with
play dough to make them easier to throw through the hole in the basket. We went in age order- youngest to oldest.

Pin the tail on the Bunny- felt circles with poster putty on the back to make them stick to the bunny without damaging it. This time we when oldest to youngest.

Opening our Easter eggs. They really enjoyed finding their treasures inside the eggs. I tried to cut down on the amount of candy. The eggs had a bunch of fun things in them- balls, bubbles, stampers, stickers,
bracelets, erasers, rings, and fuzzy chicks.

The kids enjoyed swinging, running around and playing while waiting for their turns. We also played a couple other games- Egg Puzzles- they had to find their partner with the matching piece. And Barnyard- they had to find their matching animal by listening for the sounds.
It was a amazing to spend the morning outside. We even ate our snack outside- our first time eating outside as a group this year! What a great day and fantastic weather!
